Supported, purpose-built housing in Northfield

Chatham Place is a modern purpose-built extra care, supported housing service in Northfield, Birmingham. It provides accommodation, extra care and support for people who have a visual impairment or who have physical disabilities.

Facilities

  • 64 en-suite apartments – some of these are rented and some part owned
  • Fitted kitchen
  • Spacious lounge
  • One or two bedrooms
  • Walk-in wet room

There are also storage facilities, TV and telephone sockets and a 24-hour emergency call system. There are a variety of route recognition aids situated around the scheme; with wide hallways and doorways, contrasting decor and flooring, a hearing loop system in the communal lounge and reception, and guide rails.
