We currently have self-contained, safe accommodation with on-site support available to rent at our two Housing with Care schemes listed below. This accommodation is for people who are 55+ with Sight Loss. All of our accommodation is located in Birmingham.

Albert Weedall Centre

The Albert Weedall Centre is a supported housing scheme situated in the Birmingham suburb of Erdington, for older people with sight loss. The site comprises 25 one bedroom apartments that are specifically adapted to the needs of those with a visual impairment.

Queen Mother Gardens, Harborne

Queen Mother Gardens

Queen Mother Gardens is a purpose-built property that provides very supported accommodation, with 24 hour support, for older people with sight loss. Queen Mother Gardens is based in Harborne, Birmingham and was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1991.

We also have self-contained apartments, and en-suite bedrooms with shared living and kitchen space, available for people with a visual impairment or other specialist need.

Care Homes

Two of our Birmingham Care Homes also have a vacancy. Our Care Homes offer high quality accommodation, with 24 hour care and support, to adults with visual impairments; acquired brain injury; learning disabilities and other specialist needs. All of our Care Homes are registered and inspected by the CQC.
