FAQ

If you don’t find the answer to your question in this section, please feel free to contact us for further details

Where are your schemes located?

We have Supported Housing schemes in the Harborne, Northfield and Erdington areas of Birmingham. Our Care Homes are in Edgbaston, Erdington and Sutton Coldfield.

We also provide Home Care Support to all of these areas.

Am I eligible to reside at one of your schemes?

Each of our schemes has different eligibility criteria.

If you have a visual impairment, another sensory or complex need, such as a learning disability or acquired brain injury then one of our schemes may be the perfect place for you.

Some of our Supported Housing schemes also have a minimum age limit of 55.

How much will I pay to live at one of your schemes?

This will vary, depending on the size and location of your apartment/room.

What you pay could include:

  • Rent
  • A service charge which covers the cost of housing staff, gas and electricity and communal facilities such as the use of the lounge area or laundry and gardens.
  • Home care and support costs if you choose this additional service provided by our Home Heroes team. These packages are specific to each persons needs.

People with a low income may be eligible for help with some of these costs from their local Council, for instance through the receipt of housing benefit or other financial assistance for care and support packages.

Contact us and we can talk to you and your family about the options available.

How do I apply to live at one of your schemes?

Contact us in the first instance and we will take it from there!

How do I arrange for Home Care and Support?

Contact our Home Heroes team on 0121 227 9855 or contact us.

Do you have any job vacancies at present?

Please view our current vacancies page.

How do I report a maintenance problem at my scheme?

Contact your Scheme Manager in the first instance.  They will arrange for the repair to be made, on your behalf, and at a mutually convenient time.
