WELCOME TO NEW OUTLOOK (NOHA)
NOHA was originally known as the Birmingham Royal Institute of the Blind (BRIB), Housing Society. The Institute was formed in 1846 with the Housing Society, a registered social landlord under the control of the Housing Corporation, originating in 1974.
BRIB split into 3 distinct organisations in 1997 and the name of the Housing Society changed to it’s present one, NOHA for short. The Association enjoys charitable trust status.
The aim of New Outlook Housing Association is: -

This is achieved by means of 2 sheltered housing schemes totalling 50 one-bedroom flats in the Harborne and Erdington suburbs of Birmingham, and
2. To provide a range of high quality accommodation and care to 25 young adults who have partial or total sight loss and who suffer from other forms of disability: -
- Learning disabilities
- Physical disabilities
- Other sensory impairment
This is provided by means of 4 small community based residential care homes that are located in the Harborne, Erdington and Selly Oak suburbs of Birmingham.
NOHA welcomes applicants for accommodation, and jobs from the whole community.
